Actress Whoopi Goldberg embarks on cannabis for medicinal use

US actress Whoopi Goldberg launched into the field of therapeutic use marijuana with a line of products for women, intended to relieve menstrual pain. “This project comes from my own experience of a difficult life rules and the fact that cannabis was literally the only thing that comforted me,” said Wednesday the actress from “Ghost” and “The Color Purple.” The actress teamed with Maya Elizabeth, founder of the company Om Edibles, to design this line will be marketed under the brand “Whoopi & Maya,” she said in a statement.
